Yes. Download a tour or a city before you fly, and iWander runs without a signal - audio, maps, suggestions, the lot. We assume you'll often be in places where data is patchy, expensive, or both. Wandering shouldn't depend on your bars.

No. Download what you need over Wi-Fi before you land, and the app is fully offline. If you do have data, the AI guide gets sharper - it'll know what's open, what's a five-minute walk, what's just opened around the corner. Either way works.

Yes. Send any tour to a friend with a link - they open it in iWander on their phone and walk it at their own pace, in their language, with the guide of their choice. Group sync - where two of you listen at the same time, on the same step, in the same city - is in the works.

iWander was founded in London in 2024 by brothers Marius and Antoine Nigond. Marius spent the previous seven years building self-guided audio tours at his last company, Vidi Guides. Antoine, formerly a senior technology consultant at Protiviti, is iWander's CTO. The same platform now powers the AI travel companion behind one of the world's largest hop-on hop-off sightseeing operators.

Yes. Your location is used to narrate where you are - not to track or sell. We don't share your data with advertisers.
