Build this walkHow it works
Three things, in 30 seconds.

01
Any neighbourhood, theme, or vibe. "Kafka's Prague", "Beer history walk", "Charles Bridge sunrise". iWander writes you the walk in 30 seconds.

02
Kafka, alchemists, Velvet Revolution students - Prague's stories whispered as you cross Charles Bridge. Hands-free in your headphones.

03
What's an Art Nouveau ceiling? Who's that statue with no head? Point your camera, ask out loud, or type.

Local knowledge
The stuff you only learn after you've walked it.
01
The Astronomical Clock crowds are oppressive. See it at 8am or 10pm - same show, no shoulders. Old Town is best in the early morning anyway.
02
Half a litre of Pilsner: €1.50-2.50. Bottled water at a restaurant: €2.50-3.50. Drink the beer.
03
Czechia kept the koruna (CZK). Most central restaurants accept cards. Beware euro-priced menus on Old Town Square - that's a tourist tax.
04
By 9am it's shoulder-to-shoulder. At 6am it's empty, golden, and one of the most extraordinary 500-metre walks in Europe.
05
December is magical with Christmas markets but cold. July-August is hot and packed. November is grey, half-empty, and atmospheric.
06
Included in any public transport ticket. Saves you a punishing climb up to the lookout tower (Prague's mini-Eiffel) and the rose garden.
