Bar Mleczny Pod Temidą, Tomasza, Akropol. Government-subsidised canteens from the communist era. Pierogi, soup, schnitzel for €3-5. Open weekdays for lunch.

Ruskie (potato + cheese), z mięsem (meat), z grzybami (mushroom). Boiled traditional, fried for crisp. Best at Przystanek Pierogarnia or Pierogarnia Krakowiacy.
